St. Brigid's Day
To celebrate St. Brigid's Day we made crosses. This tradition of weaving crosses from rushes dates back to pre-Christian times. It is said to have been used by Brigid in explaining the story of the life and death of Jesus to a dying chieftain.

Romero Britto
We looked at the art of Romero Britto. He is a Brazilian artist, painter, serigrapher and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work, using vibrant colours and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, dreams and happiness.
